Storage And Warehousing

Our site at Essendine, with easy access to the A1 north and south bound, is approximately 18 acres with 90,000 sq ft of covered storage. The company offers a wide range of services including archive storage, local and national distribution through the use of our own vehicles and couriers, from one box to a complete articulated load. We are able to store almost anything you may want to, including paper reels, heavy engineering machinery, printed matter and financial records.

The site lends itself to the outside storage of large items in bulk and individual items of significant mass. To support this, we have mechanical handling equipment that can lift individual items as heavy as 40 tonnes slung or 45 tonnes containerised. The storage of shipping containers is also a specialty of this site giving you the customer a more flexible answer to distribution problems.

Stamford Storage has the ability to offload vehicles from ramps and also top load large items into containers. The company can also offer many added value services such as picking and break bulk operations to extend your companies services in an almost seamless way.

Bonded Warehousing

In accordance with Regulation (EEC) 2913/92 we can provide warehousing for products entering the United Kingdom with the added benefit of Bonded Status. The basic benefit of a bonded warehouse is to put off payment of duties and V.A.T. until the time of use. This in turn allows cost effective shipping control and cash flow incentives. Clients wishing to utilise this facility should contact us to ensure all administration requirements are met and space allocated as appropriate.
